LED Illuminated Retail Shop Sign for Sheffield Help for Heroes

Here at Image Sign Studio, we have plenty of experience manufacturing and installing retail shop signs throughout Yorkshire. As experienced sign makers in Sheffield, we are lucky enough to be manufacturing and installing a number of illuminated retail shop signs for the charity Help for Heroes.

Help for Heroes supports veterans and serving personnel who have been wounded, injured or become sick as a result of serving their country. Not only does the charity support the veterans and serving personnel, it also offers support to their families and dependants as they care for their loved ones. Help for Heroes is a tri-service military charity which provides support to full time, reservist Servicemen and women and veterans from the Royal Navy, Army and Royal Air Force.

3D Shop Sign in Meadowhall

Help for Heroes are expanding in the coming months with several new stores up and down the country. Working closely with a London based shop fitting company, Image Sign Studio are involved in manufacturing and installing the shop signs for all of the new premises.

This image shows the Meadowhall store, a large indoor shopping centre on the outskirts of Sheffield. This sign needed to be installed in the Help for Heroes store during the run up to Christmas. Meadowhall extends its opening hours over the festive season; therefore, the centre is open until around 10pm at this time of year. This meant that we had to work during the night to ensure that the sign was completed when the shopping centre was closed. We worked from 12am until 5.30am to complete the signage, as to not disrupt trading hours in such a busy period for the store.

3D Fabricated Stainless Steel Letters

The sign itself consists of 3D hollow letters which have been fabricated from stainless steel to create the well known Help for Heroes logo. As well as being a 3D sign, the letters are illuminated using white LED lighting. They have then been attached to the backboard using studs.

The finished effect of the sign is visually attractive and the studs make the letters stand off the board, creating depth to the sign. The LED lights create a stunning halo effect around them which is very eye-catching.
