Image Sign have a state-of-the-art workshop to make your signage vision a reality. One of our proudest possessions is our router, which we can use to cut and create the elements, from almost any material, to make 3D signs, including, for those that really want stand-out signage, 3D illuminated signs.

3D signs are one of the most popular types of sign we offer. By adding depth, it makes the signs stand out, literally. The depth means that people can see the sign even at oblique angles where a regular, flat, sign would be all but invisible. This helps grab attention and will maximise the number of people who see your sign.

The depth adds interest in multiple ways, from the way the letters might catch the sun and cast shadows, to allowing different materials to add context or contrast to your sign. They also allow for a range of lighting options if you want one of our 3D illuminated signs.

With 3D illuminated signs the limit really is your imagination. Our workshop can handle almost any material, the most popular are stainless steel, aluminium, and Perspex and each brings different benefits. Stainless-steel signs come in a range of finishes, from brushed to mirror polished, as well as coated finishes, for example, if you wanted a gold effect then stainless steel would be your material.

Aluminium is lightweight but hard wearing and can be powder coated or spray printed to any colour. Powder coating is particularly popular. Using a dry powder that is cured under UV light it creates a finish that is harder wearing than regular paint and great for signs that might be exposed to the elements and potentially in hard-to-maintain positions.

Finally, Perspex brings all the benefits you would expect from that material. Coming in a vast range of colours and opacities you can choose the exact match for the effect you want.

What really makes these signs pop, though, is when you add illumination to them. And, again, there are options to suit almost everyone.

Face illumination is one of the most popular option. Face illuminated signs will enclose the lighting within the sign, effectively turning the sign itself into the light source. The effect can be particularly striking if the material used on the side are solid, so only the front face is illuminated.

We can also offer halo lighting. This is like it sounds, casting a gentle light on the sign from above to create a halo effect (although the lights can be placed anywhere). Used well halo lighting can provide a stunning effect with a 3D illuminated sign contrasting with the shadows it creates.

Using the latest LED technology our lights can come in any colour. And if you can’t decide, then there is the option for colour-changing lights, we’ll provide a remote control, so you can always decide which colour you need.
