Sweet Shop Signs

Sometimes, along comes a signage job that we absolutely love, this particular job was one of those jobs….

A Retro Sweet Shop! 

Needless to say, all the staff at Image Sign Studio wanted to be included on this job, for obvious reasons, the copius amounts of retro 80’s sweets on offer at The Whistle Stop Sweet Shop, based in Rotherham town centre. 

We were approached by Kara & Tony, the owners of the sweet shop, last year with regards to some basic signage for their newly opened sweet shop. Within a year, their business has really taken off, enabling them to move next door into premises almost 3 times the size of their original shop! 

Considering the signage, Kara and Tony decided on a traditional look to enhance their vintage looking shop. Their shop was finished in a lovely British racing green colour and with this in mind, there was only one option in mind for them…. Lovely looking gold Perspex letters on studs.

The lettering stands about an inch away from the surface, this gives a lovely effect when the sun shines onto them, giving them a cast shadow, it also gives the shop a real traditional English look, which everyone agrees, looks absolutely superb! 

As Image Sign Studio fabricate everything in house, our Perspex stand off letters come at a very reasonable price and hopefully you will agree look “the business”!
