Lifted to New Heights with Kitlocker Shop Signage

In July, we did some work for Kitlocker, on what turned out to be the hottest day of the year.  We inserted brand new shop signage for them which consisted of Aluminium lettering cut on our CNC machine.  We put studs on the back of the sign so that the lettering stood away from the wall.

All about Kitlocker

Kitlocker is a Sheffield based company which formed in 2005.  They sell high quality good at highly competitive prices and have built up an extremely good customer service record.  They sell sports team kits, leisurewear and training wear for general and leading European/World brands.  They also stock match and training equipment and balls which is available to purchase and take away often on the same day.  They have supplied many big names such as GB Volleyball, GB Handball and Burnley FC.

Did anything funny happen during the Shop Signage fitting?

During the sign fitting, on what most definitely was the hottest day of the year, we realised that we would need to use a scissor lift in order to access the height of the sign because the ladders at full extension could not reach.  We used the scissor lift and installed the sign but then Rich tried to get the scissor lift down to ground level when the job was completed…PROBLEM!  The scissor lift had broken and the lift contractors could not get out to fix it for over an hour which left Rich at the top of an extended scissor lift on the hottest day of the year for over an hour.  Safe to say, we had a rather red Rich!
