Hard at Wok creating new signage for Oriental Food Market and Restaurant

Recently we, Image Sign Studio, have completed retail signs for Oisoi – the oriental food market and restaurant located in St Paul’s Place restaurant quarter in the centre of Sheffield, which opened on 21^st September.

The signs were full colour digitally printed vinyl with matt laminate.  In order to capture the desired look for Oisoi, we worked in partnership with a design agency to ensure that we made their design desires a successful reality.

What is Oisoi?

Oisoi is a new experience on the Sheffield radar which is just what owner, businessman Jay Wang, who also owns West Ones’ Chinese Supermarket and Wai Ding Restaurant, was aiming for and has captured that specific niche in the market.  Diners can choose their own ingredients which they then take to be cooked at the mezzanine area where they can watch the chefs cooking either via a television screen or through a glass fronted kitchen.  They can watch Head chef, Max Castaldo, who previously worked in two Michelin starred Restaurante Lasarte in Barcelona, do what he does best.
