A Great Week – Signs for St Luke’s Hospice

What a busy week we’ve had here at Image Sign Studio! Our biggest job of the week was signs for St Luke’s Hospice! We felt so privileged when asked to refurbish the signs at the Crookes hospice in Sheffield.

It was a big project for us to undertake as the site was a disused petrol station. The exterior canopy signage totalled 50 metres all the way around. The internal signage brings the bare shop walls to life brightening up the room from the moment you walk in!

The team at St Luke’s is made up of some amazing people caring for others every day! Their work could not be done without the kindness, generosity and support from people in the community.

At the hospice at any one time the staff are caring for 20 patients in the in patient unit – 400 hundred in any one year! The community nurses are then caring for around 400 people in their homes throughout Sheffield. The nurses are also a valuable source of emotional and psychological support for patients and their families.
